HOGENT products in the spotlight

HOGENT offers a wide range of different products that are specific to Ghent University College. From clothing, carrier bags, food and drink, stationery and paper products, gadgets to gifts. In order to offer these articles in a simple way to their target audience, a new tailor-made web shop was chosen.

UX/UI Design

Based on HOGENT's corporate identity guide, an attractive webshop was designed for all target groups (students, staff and external). The webshop is to-the-point so that the visitor can find and purchase his desired item in just a few clicks.

In order to allow the user to navigate the website smoothly, it was decided to provide a pronounced filter bar in the shop. This allows the visitor to specify what they are looking for. Each product has its own detail page where extra information is displayed.

Webdevelopment

The HOGENT webshop was set up in Craft Commerce. This system is liked by search engines and is user friendly for the administrator of the shop. Craft Commerce offers all the tools you need for a well functioning webshop. During the development phase we also focused on responsiveness. This way the mobile visitor immediately finds his way in the HOGENT webshop.
